Portuguese architecture practice Capinha Lopes Consulting have unveiled the first set of renderings for the Martinhal Residences – a luxury development taking shape in Lisbon's nascent Park of Nations neighbourhood.

Situated minutes away from the city's Oceanarium, Science Museum, and Altice Music Centre, the residential complex will comprise 160 studio to five-bedroom apartments, in addition to a select number of duplexes and penthouses.

The property will also feature an expansive "family club" with indoor and outdoor pools, a gym, a kids' centre, a playground, a bistro, and spaces for yoga.

According to Capinha Lopes, the building's facade will be "integrated with nature" and covered in foliage.

Martinhal Residences is the brainchild of Elegant Group, a real estate company whose holdings include several high-end resorts in the Algarve and greater Lisbon.

Speaking on the project, which is scheduled to launch in 2022, Elegant's founders Chitra and Roman Stern said: "We are proud to launch Martinhal Residences, offering families a head start for their life in Portugal."

"It's so exciting to be feeding our energy, experience, and passion into our project in the Park of Nations area."

Prices for condos start at €265,000 (US$297,873, £227,790).
