International fitness equipment manufacturer Technogym has opened a wellness store in Madrid.

Spread over three floors, the new 500 sq m shopping venue is – according to the company – intended to be a "wellness reference space".

In a statement, Technogym said customers "will have at their disposal all Technogym's products, services and digital technologies, which they will be able to test and learn to use with the support of experienced personal trainers".

Highlighted products include the brand's trademark home fitness collection Personal – designed by Italian architect Antonio Citterio – MYRUN, an interactive treadmill; and the SKILLLINE, a series of exercise machines for cycling and walking.

The Madrid wellness store is the third Technogym outlet to open in Spain after Technogym Marbella – which opened on the city's Golden Mile last year – and Technogym Barcelona, which debuted in 2014.
