Adam’s message on creating a culture of productive generosity will encourage us as leaders to rethink how we help others succeed
– Lynne McNees

American psychologist Adam Grant has been announced as a keynote speaker for the 2020 ISPA Conference and Expo, scheduled for 14-16 October 2020.

As a professor of psychology at Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, he studies how we can find motivation and meaning to lead more generous and creative lives.

Grant has authored three books; Give and Take, Originals and Option B, which have sold over a million copies worldwide and been translated into 35 different languages. He has also contributed articles to the New York Times.

In addition to consulting for clients such as Google, the NBA and the Gates Foundation, Grant hosts a TED talk original podcast titled “WorkLife”, which provides advice on how to make the most out of work, from learning how to love criticism to harnessing the power of frustration.

In 2016, Grant gave a TED talk on original thinkers and givers, which has since been viewed online more than 16 million times worldwide.

“Adam’s message on creating a culture of productive generosity will encourage us as leaders to rethink how we help others succeed”, said ISPA President Lynne McNees. “His speech will be the perfect addition to ISPA’s 30th-anniversary celebration”.

The ISPA conference will be held at Gaylord National in National Harbor, Maryland, US. The three-day event includes an expo floor and features speaker presentations covering topics such as business strategy, customer service and management.
