Hard Rock International will add a Prague location to its portfolio, with the new property opening in 2023.

Owned by EP Real Estate, the 523-room hotel will have a three-storey feature wall with a 5,900sq ft soundwave of moving light.

Hard Rock International will be the operator, tenant and manager of the property.

Dale Hipsh, senior vice president of hotels at Hard Rock International, told Spa Business the brand has aspirations to manage as well as acquire hotels. Previously the group only operated one out of the 28 properties it owns.

Todd Hricko, Hard Rock’s senior VP and head of global hotel business development, said: “Prague is a striking favourite among European cities and has experienced great development in its tourism industry in recent years. Hard Rock is honoured to announce the arrival of its music-infused presence to this beautiful city, following two years of work on the project.”

Facilities will include a rooftop Body Rock fitness Centre, Rock Shop, swimming pool, @Biz Business Centre and a full-service Rock Spa.

The Rock Spa puts a musical twist on traditional spa treatments, offering a music-centric menu including rituals such as it’s sound vibration facial – called Face the Music.

Guests will also be able to experience Synchronicity, the pulsating massage which features an eclectic blended soundtrack, designed to tap into memories and create an experiential journey, in sync with massage techniques, pressure and rhythm.

In-room programmes include music-infused yoga programmes Rock Om and The Sound of Your Stay, where guests will have complimentary use of Fender guitars, amps and headphones.

Guests will be offered multiple dining experiences including an elegant speciality restaurant which is yet to be named, a stylish restaurant called Sessions and Constant Grind Coffee and Bar.

The hotel will also be home to a rooftop Sky Bar that will overlook Letna Park and Prague castle.
