Clarges Mayfair – a residential development with wellness features that hearken back to the ancient spa towns of Harrogate, Bath, and Cheltenham, has opened in London.

Conceptualised by interior specialists Martin Kemp Design and architects Squire & Partners, Clarges Mayfair features a cinema, gym, hydrotherapy pool, steam room, sauna, and a 25 m collonaded swimming pool, as well as several private treatment rooms.

Developed by British Land, the residences, which comprise 34 apartments arranged over 10 floors, overlook Green Park and Buckingham Palace.

In a précis, Squire & Partners said the complex, which draws on Classicism and Art Deco, was "designed as an elegant response to the established Piccadilly streetscape, respecting the rhythm and scale of traditional buildings whilst creating its own identity through contemporary details and craftsmanship".

Several apartments are now on offer to the global property market.

Speaking on the properties, James Taylor, head of Clarges Mayfair, said they "complete the development’s unique offering for potential purchases to now experience first-hand."
